How it works: Consign/Sell
Quotes are provided within 1-2 business days.
Consignment quotes list the price we will sell your item for, minus our commission.
Quotes are valid for 30 days and are in Canadian dollars.
Reply back to the quote if you accept the offer or not.

Consignors bear all shipping risks.
Item Inspection and Processing
Items are inspected for authenticity and condition upon receipt. Processing takes 3-5 business days.
Consignment payouts occur when the items are sold.
Payout methods include E-transfer, PayPal, or Stripe.
Consignment Period
Items must stay for at least 90 days. After 90 days, you can retrieve your item by covering shipping costs, or leave it for a flash sale.
Early withdrawal before 90 days incurs a $250 fee.
Consignment Rates
Items value
$500 – $2,500 | 30% commission
$2,501 – $5,000 | 25% commission
$5,001 – $10,000 | 20% commission
$10,001+ | 15% commission
Important Notice
Non-authentic items incur a $450 fee for return.
Watches need the original receipt or authenticity card; Rolex must be full set.
Newer bags with microchips or stickers require the original receipt and a legible serial number.
Van Cleef & Arpels or Cartier jewelry need the original certificate of authenticity.
Le Cellier is not responsible for loss or damage of consigned items.

Items must be in at least Very Good condition.
Consignement Agreement
Le Cellier’s Terms of Service, available at: https://lecellier.co/terms-conditions, are included in this Agreement and apply to all activities under it.
Note: It is illegal to buy or sell counterfeit luxury goods. Le Cellier will not handle counterfeit items.
Process
Upon receiving your items, Le Cellier will handle promotion, including authentication, market price evaluation, professional photography, detailed product description, online listing, customer service, secure packaging, shipping, and insurance. Our goal is to sell your items quickly at the best possible price.
Selling Your Item
We use our online store, customer base, and other selling channels to sell your authentic luxury designer items. We cover all transaction expenses such as credit card fees, PayPal fees, and shipping. Items must remain with us for at least 90 days. Early withdrawal incurs a $250 fee. After 3 months, you can take back unsold items or leave them with us until sold.
Consignment Terms & Item Pricing
The initial price is based on current market value. We will consult you on any price reductions. We will only lower the price with your approval. If the item’s condition is worse than described, we reserve the right to decrease the quote without notice.
Delivery of Property; Risk of Loss; Insurance
You are responsible for your items until Le Cellier takes physical possession. If an item is damaged, stolen, or lost while in our possession, we will pay you a commission based on the item’s estimated net selling price. We are not liable for items requested to be returned after 30 days.
Property Acceptance Conditions
We evaluate each item’s authenticity, quality, and value upon receipt. Only items in very good to pristine condition, listed in our Designer Directory, and determined to be authentic will be accepted. Unaccepted items will be returned at your expense or donated to charity with your written approval.
Unauthenticated, Counterfeit, or Stolen Items
You are responsible for ensuring all items are authentic. If we cannot confirm an item’s authenticity, we will refuse it. If an item is determined to be counterfeit, you will be notified. To retrieve a counterfeit item, you must pay a $450 penalty fee. Otherwise, the item will be destroyed. Le Cellier complies with all laws regarding counterfeit or stolen items and will cooperate with law enforcement.
Title to Property
You retain ownership of each item until it is sold, defined as either sold to a customer, or lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed while in our possession.
No Assignment
You may not assign this Agreement or any interest in it without our prior written consent. Any unauthorized assignment is null and void.
