Authenticity Guarantee

Our buying team carefully reviews all items in person. They are trained to look for hallmarks of authenticity, including materials, construction quality, and hardware. They review the interior and exterior of each item carefully before sending it for further authentication.

Select items are sent to our authentication experts. Le Cellier uses a microscopic camera and advanced AI technology to compare handbags to a massive database of known authentic and counterfeit items. We combine human expertise with AI assessments to ensure high accuracy. In case of conflicting results, we involve more authenticators to determine the outcome.

Items deemed to be inauthentic are returned to the supplier immediately or donated after 2 weeks of being unclaimed. Suppliers will be charged a $75 authentication fee and $250 for Hermes items.

Le Cellier guarantees lifetime authenticity for all the items sold through us. Our team of authenticators check every detail to leave no space for doubt. In case of a sale of an inauthentic item, you will receive a 100% refund. Le Cellier will also take in charge the cost of return shipping.

Do the items on sale come with an authenticity card/certificate/authentication report?

Most of the items on our website come from individuals who wish to sell their pieces. Therefore, the availability of an authenticity card differs from product to product. Whether or not an item comes with an authenticity card or a certificate is stated in the product details of each item. We offer for many of our items an in-house authenticity certificate when you purchase from us.
